Very cool, former industrial, building that includes 6 rooms with a minimalistic, but very smart and qualitative interior design and furnishing. Super comfortable bed and beautiful terrace infront of the rooms.
Located in a nice and calm residential area but still very centric: main train station is only one bus stop away, zoo and botanic garden less then 10mins walking distance. Good restaurants and bars nearby. Very friendly, helpful and relaxed staff giving good recommendations. To sum up:
A really special experience and a really special accommodation concept.
I really enjoyed staying here for 3 nights, it’s very relaxed place. The location is good, not to far to the station. Love the design of the rooms. Stylish and comfortable!!

This was very nice and comfortable, even came with a guide to the local rastaurants/bars and sunshine on top! Will go here again, either on business or for leisure.
Another perfect stay at Stout&co.This was our second experience and nothing disappoints.Everyone is very welcoming and friendly.The rooms are perfect whilst being cool and full of well thought out ideas.With super comfy beds and luxury toiletries you have everything you need . There is also a kitchenette and a very well priced mini bar !! The outside terrace is also private and great for a nightcap. The location is also fantastic with great bars and restaurants on your doorstep but in a very peaceful residential area so no noise at night. We can’t recommend this b&b enough. Looking forward to another visit soon.

Some friends told us, January would not the best time to go to a city trip to Amsterdam. It`s supposed to be cold, rainy, with some snow, very icy and dark – they said. Nevertheless, we decided to go to Amsterdam just a few days after new year`s 2017 and guess what? We had an absolutely amazing stay! We owe this fact especially to Stout & Co.: This beautiful B&B, which appeared to us as an island of calm and well-being, is an address we can highly recommend to everyone who`s looking for an extraordinary, urban but cozy place to stay. The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful for us guys who didn`t have a real clue where to go and what to see… We also had the homemade, fresh breakfast, which was a really good decision – perfect to start the day in this exciting city. We would love to come back soon.
We stayed here for one week in November. The staff were wonderful – attentive, polite, and knowledgeable. The owners are also architects, and the building itself is a pleasure to walk through. They put thought into each detail of the building and rooms – down the soap in the bathrooms (it smelled so good)!
We stayed at Stout&Co. five days and we absolutely fell in love with it and its nice staff. It was like being home. The design and decoration couldn’t be better and the location is really good. The breakfast is fantastic, by the way. We’ll come back for sure.

A 15 min du centre à pied et à 5min du tram .

The folks at Stout& co [Amsterdam]keep on sending me these images….from our 5 city trip this past summer – Stout & co is owned by 2 architects who have their loft on the top floor – the bottom of the building houses their employees [15] and work spaces – the middle is comprised of 7 apt. like living spaces – to rent .We were there 5 nights …best lodgings -ever .That part of the world is known for its ‘industrial design’….the spaces were very well designed , cool , hip , trendy ……..a few years before we were at the Ritz Carlton in Naples FL .-nice, but the Stout was the best . And the best breakfast ,and the healthiest ………just in case, if your looking for someplace to hold up for the next 4 years…..

For us it was the second stay and we come back next year .
We had a wonderful 4-night stay at Stout & Co. The accommodation is beautiful; we had high expectations due to the website, but the experience exceeded them! The owners have thought of everything, from the Aesop products to the stunning interior design details. The rooms were spacious and pristine. The location is excellent: it is very quiet but it is still possible to walk everywhere and there are some great restaurants nearby. It is lovely to look out onto the terrace garden. Breakfast was a real treat. The staff take care of guests brilliantly and we enjoyed all of their recommendations, from the suggested walking routes to the neighbourhood restaurants. We received a very warm welcome. Stout & Co was the perfect base from which to explore Amsterdam and we hope to visit again in the future.
Super locatie, met heel lekker bio ontbijt(speltbrood, lekkere verse cake, vers fruit, enz…) Op wandelafstand van het centraal station, naar het centrum kan ook te voet gedaan worden. Dichtbij de b&b is een tramhalte (aan de zoo) die u gemakkelijk tot aan het centrum brengt. Heel veel dank voor het stadsplannetje met de aanduiding van de cullinaire locaties (dank u wel Stefaan)
nice location that gets even better with a bike. Ultra modern studios with coffe and tea Malingsbo facilities. Minibar with friendly priced and interesting local beers. The concrete florors are a bit cold, bring your slipers IF you dont like cold feet! Nice breakfast. Follow the advices you get from the friendly owner, and you will have a nice time in Amsterdam.
We stayed at Stout & Co. a week ago only for a couple of days but well enjoyed. Our host was friendly and helpful, when we said no plan then he told us how to walk around Amsterdam efficiently. Of course the room and the breakfast were great too. We hope come back again someday and stay longer.
We had a fantastic time at Stout and Co . There was a clear emphasis on design and comfort , and every little detail was ‘just right’ without trying too hard .
Our hosts were friendly and helpful . This area of Amsterdam gives you a sense of people living their daily lives , but it’s just a short walk or cycle or walk into town . We ate lunch at the Plantage near the zoo and had a great dinner at Wildezwijen – a short cab journey away .
We absolutely loved Stout & Co. Contemporary minimalist elegance in it’s finest form. Beautifully designed and very comfortable as well as lovely Aesop products to use. The hosts are so welcoming and kind too. Highly recommend.
We really enjoyed our stay at Stout and Co. The rooms are beautifully designed with many small thoughtful details. The location is excellent and you get a feel for the real Amsterdam (away from the usual tourist traps). The staff are extremely helpful. Finally the price is very reasonable. What else could you ask for? I will definitely be back again.
We visited Stout & Co. during the summer holidays and it was wonderful. The staff is very helpful and small cards in the receptions suggests topics to see divided into categories.
The style and cleanliness is top tier, and the boutique style hotel is just for us. We are diffinetly going to be staying at Stout & Co. the next time we are in Amsterdam.
On the downside car parking is a bit of a drag. However, if you arrive by air this is no issue.
We stayed a week there in august, we had a wonderful stay at Stout&Co. It’s a really cool place, the roms are big and the design is really cool as well. The staff is very welcoming and the helpful. The neighbourhood is cosy and nearby the zoo, city center and everything you need to enjoy this wonderful city. World love to stay here again.
