it was again an amazing stay at Stout & Co. We feel very comfortable here. I love the beautiful studio, the terrace with the wonderful plants and the quiet neighbourhood of Amsterdam. We are already looking forward to the next time.
We were here for the 4th time I think, and as always, our stay was great! We always feel so welcome and get inspired by the great interior and atmosphere.
The hosts are the best…
Everything about this place was relaxing. The bed was super comfortable. The little kitchen perfect for a coffee or tea. The bathroom luxurious. And the terrace magical (I loved the greenery and bird sounds). It felt like a lovely home away from home but with canals and restaurants and museums within walking distance. The staff was charming and helpful.

Ik werd echter gevraagd om een recessie te schrijven. En aangezien de stout tam ontzettend leuk is, doe ik het natuurlijk graag. Ik zou deze prachtige bed and breakfast aan iedereen willen aanbevelen. Alles is hier en ik ben er persoonlijk dol op.
We arrived in Amsterdam immediately after changing guidelines regarding Corona. So we could not go to the restaurant after 8pm. Dear Stefan came to our aid, ordered us food and set us a table like in a restaurant. The service was excellent, the room is great, highly recommend.The hotel is beautiful and well-kept, charmingly decorated and conveniently located. The accommodation there definitely upgraded our stay on vacation.
I’ve been to Amsterdam about two dozen times and stayed in everything from hostels to 5 star hotels. I only regret I didn’t find Stout & Co sooner. You won’t find a better balance of comfort, space, and hospitality. It’s a model of how a boutique hotel or B&B should be designed and run. Can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!
We had a wonderful time at Stout & Co. From the minute we arrived we were welcomed in such a friendly and relaxed manner, that we felt immediately comfortable and relaxed. The studio room is so beautiful, comfortable and well designed that we enjoyed every minute of it and slept so comfortably. The breakfast was a feast too! But most of all it was the friendly, relaxed and personal atmosphere we loved the most. We will defiantly come back! Thank you for a wonderful time!

For us, it’s the nicest place to arrive in Amsterdam and feel at home. Whether for a weekend or a longer period, Stout & Co. is the perfect place. The team is so friendly and relaxed. The beautiful planted terrace makes the stylish studio perfect.

Probably the very best place to stay in Amsterdam! No Grand-Hotel could offer us friendlier atmosphere, such a beautiful room and better breakfast. We come back as soon as possible (for another concert in Muziekgebouw or Concertgebouw)

I stayed at Stout & Co recently for a work trip and it was great. The studio was beautifully designed, the breakfast was tasty and the roof terrace was lovely. Staff were also extremely friendly and helpful. A personal highlight were the Aesop luxury shampoos and soaps in the bathroom! I definitely hope to stay again next time Im in Amsterdam.
I loved my stay at Stout & Co. The location was peaceful, connected, but really made me feel like a local and out of the tourist crush; the room was spacious and serene and full of lovely things; and the hosting – both in person, and virtually – by means of hand-written notes and neighborhood maps – was impeccable. I loved the sense of being a tangential part of a creative Amsterdam community. I’ll be back!
